Solution to Error Code 1000, 1002, 1003, 1004, 1006

1. Error Code 1000

    Cause: iTunes cannot be launched.

    Solution: Please manually close M4VGear and iTunes, then try to relaunch the program.


2. Error Code 1001 and 1002

    1) Cause: The file is unauthorized.

        Solution: Please authorize the file in iTunes and relaunch iTunes and the program successively.

    2) Cause: Several versions exist for the file. And the version added for converting is different from that set in iTunes -> Preferences -> Playback -> Preferred Video Version.

        Solution: Reset Preferred Video Version in iTunes -> Preferences -> Playback -> Preferred Video Version. Then play the video from the beginning with iTunes. After that, relaunch iTunes and the program successively.

    3) Cause: The file is from external drive or Internet shares. External drive or Internet has been disconnected after the files was added to the program for converting.

        Solution: Please make sure that external drive or Internet is connected to computer while converting.

    4) Cause: The rentals cannot be played with iTunes

        Solution: Choose Play when iTunes is asking you if you want to play the file or not after you click Convert button.

        If problem persists, please try to manually play the iTunes video in iTunes at once after clicking Convert button to start conversion with M4VGear.


3. Error Code 1003

    Cause: The file is from external drive or Internet shares. External drive or Internet has been disconnected after the file was added to the program for converting.

    Solution:Please make sure that external drive or Internet is connected to computer while converting.


4. Error Code 1004

    Cause: Error occurs while converting a certain track.

    Solution: Relaunch iTunes and the program. After the file is added to the program, convert directly without doing any settings on Audio/Subtitle Track.


5. Error Code 1006

    Cause: Error occurs while converting the file.

    Solution: Close other running programs and relaunch iTunes and the program to restart the conversion.
